The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a child’s first visit to an orthodontist by age 7.
While most children won’t need treatment at this age, an early check-up allows us to identify subtle problems with jaw growth, emerging teeth, or habits that could lead to more significant issues later on.
We can monitor your child’s dental development and guide you on what to expect as their permanent teeth come in.
In some cases, early intervention can prevent more complex problems from developing, potentially reducing the need for extensive treatment in the future.
